This is a small Colony of Feral Cats in Greensboro. At one time there were about 20 cats in the colony. Due to the complaints of the property owners, we have successfully relocated some of the cats. A few went to a barn home in Trinity, NC were they are doing fine and a few went to another property. Three cats were socialized and were adopted to fine homes. The rest are Spayed and Neutered and very healthy. There is one female that we are having a real hard time trapping, she showed up recently with a litter of kittens, so we are actively trying to get her trapped.
Unfortunately, two were killed by cars. One was an intact male that wandered into the colony and was killed before he could be trapped and neutered. The other kitty that was killed is Punkin', she was a very sweet kitty and I was very close to having her social enough to bring into our Foster Program. You will see several pictures of her here.
This is a cat I named Old Man. He was very friendly, so I got him and he now lives with a very nice
couple, so his new name is Thomas.
Here are 2 orange kitties, when the long haired kitty first showed up, he was limping very badly. Now he is great health.
